It is quite amazing how things come about, often without careful plans or thoughts. That is how AJLA came about and opens in Clarinbridge on 29th March 2018.
AJLA is a new addition to the PoppySeed story, PoppySeed opened almost 11 years ago in the beautiful village of Clarinbridge. This daytime eatery quickly gained recognition for its quality home baking and fresh, creative menus. The journey continues with the addition of AJLA to the PoppySeed brand. Located in the extensive first-floor space above the PoppySeed gourmet café this is a restaurant space which embraces the views of the stone bridge, the Clarin River and the celebrated Oyster village on the wild Atlantic way.
AJLA opens from 10.30am daily from Wednesday to Sunday, closing earlier on both Wednesday and Sunday at 5 pm and with last orders are at 8.30pm on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Brunch is served daily until 12.30pm with an array of freshly baked scones with house preserves, creative breakfasts, and healthy options. The lunch and dinner options offer classical favorites including house pate, grilled prawns, steamed mussels and grilled steak. An array of mezze boards are perfectly matched to a relaxed catch up with friends. The elegant Oyster room will launch at the end of April and introduce a traditional lunch service on Saturdays and Sundays. The Oyster room will also be available for private parties and events.
